The indoor driver's side passenger door handle will not open the door?

It can be opened from the outside though. When I took the panel off nothing looked broken to me the cable moves when you pull the inside handle also.

The inside cable must have broken/fallen off of the door latch, or the door latch is bad. Here is how to replace it to help fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
