Indicator light flashing when engine is on

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try to help. As far as the idea that the flashers are all flashing once the ignition switch is turned on indicates there is a switch power source which has likely shorted to the flasher unit or the switch itself has shorted.

As a simple test, remove the signal flasher fuse and see if they stop. If they do, then we know the problem is related to the signal circuit. If they continue, then we have a short to a different circuit.
