I took my vehicle to the shop. They said I have a leak in the imrc. Just wondering does it have a gasket? And if it does where is it located?

The IMRC is a shaft that runs through the intake manifold with flaps that open and close under certain situations. When they leak it is usually where the shaft passes through the manifold. It allows vacuum to leak past the shaft. The solution on most vehicles is a new intake manifold.
