Being it is a 2019 and under warranty I would let the dealer deal with it as there are no parts available outside a dealership at this time. That said there is no separate immobilizer module in that vehicle, it is integrated into the transponder ECU as part of the transponder key system. The add-on pieces for it would be if it has the key-less entry and start or the contents alarm. I attached what little they show for the system but it is only the transponder assembly as the immobilizer gets the signal through it. If the light is on all the time and not flashing it is a fault in the system and not key related.

You would need a scan tool for reprogramming the immobilizer. How sure are you that this is the one cusing the problem?

My car has an alarm system. I've been having problems with it. Can it be disconnected. If so can I do it or do I have to take it in to the dealership.

What is the problem you are encountering? Ignoring or bypassing a problem is not the correct way to be going about. It might result in other complications if something is disconnected, eg, the power door locks.

So here we go. I hope someone can help me with this I have spent hours out the back checking things. So I have two of the same vehicle listed above d4d 2l diesels they were both running fine. I then stored them out the back yard for a few years I have come to start them after swapping the batteries and they both wont fire up. They have fuel but don't seem to have ignition they crank over but wont fire up. The key will unlock the car but when I try to lock it the immobilizer just beeps and doors don't lock. So I can only assume I have an immobilizer problem its as if because the car batteries died the car has forgotten the key code. The car keys were fine I didn't have to change the battery in them. It is very odd as the two cars have the same problem. I only want to get them back up to scratch so I can make a few quid rather than them just sit in a scrap yard there to good for that? Please help

Hello,

Can I ask if the security light is flashing when you try to crank the engine over? If so here is a guide to help you reset the system:

Please run down this guide and report back.

When leaving the car and arming the alarm system, after about two minutes the alarm will start going off. Even if I lock the car manually, after about two minutes the alarm will go off. Please advise.

Factory or aftermarket alarm? Check all battery connections. Does the car indicate on the dash that any doors are open or anything out of the ordinary?

Factory alarm. Nothing on dash to indicate anything out of order. If it is the battery on my key fob can I go to an auto parts store to get them?

It sounds like you have a micro switch in the drivers door lock that has gone bad, because that is what happened to my car. I got a new latch and installed it the problem went away. Cost me $67.00 for the part. FYI
Here are wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. (Below)

I look up a couple of sites on how to bypass a 1997 Toyota rave 4 immobilizer an I followed the one where it said to cut the two wires coming from key cylinder join them cut power to immobilizer box an it should work but all am getting is spark for about 4 seconds car starts and cut right off so my guess is immobilizer is still cutting in, I need help on which wires to attend to in order to fully bypass this immobilizer, which wires are the ones that shut immobilizer completely off, it has a Toyota vvs immobilizer system with 3 separate immobilizer boxes, I eliminate power to all the boxes but immobilizer still kickin in I think, I need your help had car for a while an it runs great besides that

I'm sorry, but due to the nature of this question, we can't answer it. Please understand that it isn't in our best interest to teach people how to bypass a security system.
