I severed the antenna wire on my immobilizer to my vehicle, I'm wondering if I can rewire the antenna wire or if I need a new immobilizer?

Hello,

The antenna wires are typically the gray and brown wire for these immobilizers.
Where did the wire break? Unless there is damage to where the wires go in you should be able to reattach by soldering.

Here is a helpful video on how to solder:

I have attached the wiring schematics for the immobilizer below.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

Can you please post the same wiring schematic for a 2010 Chrysler Sebring lx 2.4l?
I had lost my key and accidentally broke the wire on mine. After finding the key I attempted to rewire and resolder the antenna. Maybe I didn't do it quite right. Because upon reassembling the ignition the red light stays blinking and everything turns on but the engine. No noise at all when I turn the key all the way. Except that annoying high pitched *bing*bing*bing*
I've tried every reset method I've read about, and been researching nonstop since this started ways to get my car back on the road. Nothing has worked so far. The place I've been parked since losing my key is not good and I don't want to leave my car here either, but I don't have money to get it towed or to pay a mechanic/locksmith/dealer to solve this problem for me. Any advice on what I should do now is greatly appreciated. I was thinking that with a schematic to look at I might find a way to bypass the antenna or rebuild it or a new one that would work like the original.

Hi,

I would be happy to do that for you, but I have to ask a favor. I need you to copy and paste your question to a new post. We try to keep the vehicle makes and needs specific to one topic, so they are more helpful to others. I hope you understand.

Here is the link to start a new post:

Again, I hope you understand.

Thanks,
