While driving and pressing on the gas, it makes a high while sound

The second problem is while I'm driving and pressing on the gas, it makes a high while sound. I don't know if it's my steering pump going/already out or if it has to do with my fuel system of some sort. Anyway, I just need help if a possible diagnosis, so I at least know where to start.
