Truck stops running while driving. I replaced ignition rotor. It starts and runs fine for about a week one hundred to two hundred miles a week then quits running again?

Works again for a week with a new rotor button?

With the distributor cap off, using your fingers, is there any circular wobble on the shaft the button sits on? (Not CW or CCW rotational play) (Understand?)

Can you see any unusual wear on the button while comparing it with a new one?

Replaced distributor and coil last year, problem still continued. It has accelerated since we rebuilt TBI and pressure regulator.

When the engine stalls do you hear the pump in the tank still running? Also, lets check for spark it see if it is ignition related.

This guide can help as well.

Please let us know what happens.
