Australian Nissan Pathfinder 2011.
It has a smart key where I don’t need to insert key into barrel to turn on/off but there is a key for emergencies.
The ignition knob will not turn to lock. I can turn the car off but there is a lock position to lock the steering wheel.
I’ve put car into park, put my foot on brake, jiggled the steering wheel and only sometimes the ignition will go to lock.

Hi,

I watched the video. If I had to guess, I would say the shift lock isn't fully engaging in park. What happens if you push the shifter toward park, and then try the key?

Here is my dilemma: In the US, they don't offer the 2.5L. I looked up a 4.0L to gather some info. I found how to adjust the shifter cable that could be off a bit. Take a look through it and let me know your thoughts.

Take care,

Joe
