I am unable to start my car. I put the key in ignition but the key is unable to turn for the car to start. My lights and radio will come on but I'm still unable to start my car.

Hi,

Based on the mileage, there is a good chance the tumbler is just worn the key itself. If you have a spare key, see if that makes a difference. Also, here is a link you may find helpful. Take a look through it to see if anything helps.

If nothing suggested helps, chances are the ignition lock cylinder will need replaced.

Let me know what you find.

Hi,

It could be the shifter is stuck and not going all into park move the the shifter from drive to park and see if it releases the ignition switch. I'm attaching fuse location and wiring diagram below check the interlock solenoid fuse and replace if blown. Check the power and ground to the interlock solenoid. Let us know if you need more information.
