Ignition switch does not turn?

My ignition switch won't turn. I put the key in the ignition, but the key wouldn't turn. I have put gear selector in all gears and then back to park but still won't turn.

Have you held pressure on the steering wheel in either direction, can I ask if the front wheels are turned?

If nothing works the ignition switch lock tumbler is bad and need to be replaced. Here is how to change the lock out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
