I lost the key to my truck and drilled out the ignition?

Well, the ring with the wire on it was damaged and a wire to the box below was knocked loose, what should I do?

Is this the part you a referring to, number 8 in the diagram? If so, that is the PATS transceiver ring. It reads the chip in the ignition key so the vehicle will start. It's part of the vehicle security system.
Unfortunately you will need to get a new key and have it programmed to the vehicle. As well as replacing the damaged components.
