Hi,

If I understand correctly, it turns from off, to run to start, but you can't turn it fully off to remove the key. Is that correct? You say you can restart it, so I assume you are able to turn it off.

Since it has a manual transmission, it isn't related to a park interlock. So, it is most likely related to the switch itself and not the lock assembly.

Here are directions for replacing the switch (not the tumbler/lock assembly). You may need to remove the present one and see if something has come apart or is damaged.

Let me know if this helps. Also, let me know if I misunderstood what you are experiencing. One last thought, make sure none of the ignition fuses are blown.

Take care,
