ignition problem broke swtch out lost key been using screw driver now wont cut off

Switch for ignition broken out dew to lost key ,using screwdriver now won't cut off without takeing ground off battery! Can I shut everything off a better way ? Disabled ,don't have money to fix back right at this time ! I just need to find out how to shut car off ,its my only transportation! Need couple more weeks maybe can put new ignition switch in by then ! Please , help disabled old man out if you can !
