My ignition lock cylinder has gone bad. Accepts key but will not turn. Can i use one from a salvage yard if i change the entire steering column?

Hi,

You won't be able to use one from a salvage yard. If you are able to get a good one, it will need to be programmed for the immobilizer.

Are you certain the cylinder is bad?

Take a look at this link:

Let me know.
