When I turn the engine off and pull the key out, I do no't hear the click sound which locks the steering wheel. The result is that the steering wheel does not lock, the remote does not work, the tiny light on top of the front doors does not work. I have to lock the car manually with the key without the benefit of the alarm. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi JP,

Symptom indicates a possible blown fuse. Have the fuses checked to see if any has blown.

Can it still be a fuse if once in a while the problem disappear and then starts again?

Not really unless it has a bad connection. It sounds more like the ignition switch/lock has worn out.

Here are some diagrams to help you get the unit changed out.

15 - Terminal 15
30 - Terminal 30
50 - Terminal 50
50b - Terminal 50b
75 - Terminal 75
86s - Terminal 86s

Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
