When you turn the ignition to the on position, it will turn but the dashboard light does not come on. I have checked all fuses and all checks okay, what could be the cause?

Hi,

Does anything electrical work on the vehicle? For example, do the brake lights turn on when you press the pedal?

Do me a favor. If nothing is working, check to see if the fuses in the CJB have power to them.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,

If nothing is working, confirm there isn't a ground problem from the battery. Additionally, check if any fuses in the CJB fuse box have power.

Let me know.

There are power on the most fuses there.
If you plugin the battery terminal, the two headlamps will lit as if there's a module that is not communicating.

Hi,

If the CJB doesn't have power to everything, chances are that is where the problem is. I would remove it and inspect the wiring behind it. The headlamps could be getting power via a short to power.

If you want, connect the battery so the lights turn on. Remove the fuse for the headlamps and see if they turn off. If they don't, we have a short to power likely in the box or behind it.

Let me know.
