Ignition key cylinder will not move

Okay, I'm trying to find out how to remove the ignition lock cylinder without it being able to move. my key will not move at all. I believe it went bad so I trying to remove it so I can move the car from a McDonald's parking lot.

Hi,

I'm not sure we can get it to turn, but I attached the directions below for removal. There is a release pin that will release the endcap. Once that is done, slide it to the key, and then you should be able to remove it. Once the endcap is moved, you then may be able to turn the key as well.
