I just installed a new immobilizer. Can a locksmith program it or do I have to tow it to dealership?

It depends on the locksmith, some can program the modules others won't. I would call a couple and see what they say. They need a real scan tool to do the job, most only have key tools that can program the keys into a vehicle. The dealer isn't the only place though, a good shop could also program it if they have a good scan tool.
