This vehicle ignition does not turn on after the vehicle was stolen by armed robbers and was later recovered by military men and was taken to barracks. At that place, the ECM and certification ecu was stolen. So, another ECM free code was brought and put to the car but the ignition didn't come to test the ECM whether it will crank the motor?

Hi,

If the ECM was replaced, the anti-theft system needs to be programmed to recognize the key codes. See pic 1 below.

Was this done? Also, I need to know if the vehicle has a smart key or a traditional one.

Let me know.

Also, I need to know if the vehicle has a smart key? Yes, smart key. But what I need is what to do for ignition to turn on before other things. Or can't the ignition be on before programming ECUs?

Hi,

If the immobilizer doesn't recognize the key, it won't power up.

Let me know.
