I replaced the Ignition switch cylinder and it was fairly hard to get out so I took a hammer/flat head screw driver and beat the cylinder out. Once I installed the new cylinder switch the ignition on the I had power to lights radio but not the instrument cluster. Also the vehicle will not start.

Did you accidentally replace the ignition lock cylinder instead of the ignition switch?
What was the reason for replacing the ignition lock cylinder?

Do you hear the starter make a click or perhaps the starter solenoid or even the starter relay click when you turn the key to start?

If not, start by checking these starter fuses and try a new or spare relay in that spot for the starter relay.

Check those fuses for voltage with the key on start and see if there are indeed getting voltage from the ignition switch. The PCM crank fuse, that one.

It sound like you got the ignition tumbler not installed correctly. I would remove it and follow these instructions and guides to reassemble. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
