It is called a power transistor and it is mounted on the fender well, next to the master cylinder. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/42131336.gif

What would cause no crank? just clicks head good starter, good battery, good ignition switch, will turn over on occasion. can push start, but will not start all the time with key.

Certainly not an ignition module.

Most likely a bad starter or connection problem in one of the battery cables.
