I had a mechanic change the evaporator core to fix the air conditioner. Before the job, when I would turn the key off to shut off the car, it would always make several beeps. After the job was complete, when I shut off the car, there is no more beeping. I presume this is something important and I am concerned. Can you please shed some light on this concern?

Thank you,

Michael

The dash has to be removed for that job so most likely they forgot to plug the beeper back in?

Is that something to be concerned with? It beeps for a reason, but I am not sure what that reason is. Thanks for your reply.

It is a warning beep to let you know key is in the ignition, low on fuel, overheating, low oil, lights on etc. So it is helpfull to have.
