Just replaced coil pack and boots, didn't replace ignition module went to start it no start, cranked good but no start. I do have issues with my theft mode on this car since I've had it, I just bypass it by sitting with key on till it quits blinking and it starts, it did that my first crank after I changed coil pack and no start since. Just letting you know I'm a 61 years young woman so I might not give you the information in order.

No problem, so the engine never started after the ignition coil replacement, correct? I would say you have a defective part. Can I ask which brand the part is? The ignition control module is integrated into the coil pack. Here is the correct way to replace both, also make sure the electrical connectors are plugged in completely. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

The coil pack has the module bolted to it, you can use a voltmeter and test the OHMS of each of the coil terminals but that is not an actual "in use" test which is difficult to do. The images are correct for this car I have double checked, you can upload an image so I can see so we are on the same page. The fact that it doesn't run means the installation is not correct or the new coil pack is bad. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Yep, we are on the same page, this is the coil pack and ignition module. I would disassemble them to see if the electrical connectors are okay, ands if so I would get another coil pack because the one you have sounds defective.

I have a module coming I was going to replace also, so I shouldn't try it until I return my coil and get another one? This is more than I thought it was going to be having a defective part. Okay, so I'll have to return this one wait for a new one and start over. I will keep you updated. One more question, could the boots cause issues?
Thank you

I'll be getting a new coil pack today. I put my old one back on it started so yes you were right about the bad part. I hope I have good news later. Oh, the connectors looked good. And dielectric grease, where all should I put it?

Good job, you should install the dielectric grease inside the electrical connections and spark plug boots. Just a bit, you don't need to fill them up completely.
