Code for misfire in cylinder #7 was coming up, so I replaced all the spark plugs. After doing so the code was still showing up. Then I took the ignition coil from cylinder #7 and swapped it with #4, and the code followed the coil over to cylinder #4. I figured bingo, that’s gotta be the issue. Now the truck is running even worse than it was before putting on the new coil. The check engine light come on and off, feels almost like a vehicle with a dab catalytic converter (little power), and it’s a lot shakier. I do not know what could be the problem?

Thanks, Hayden

It sounds like the coil is defective. when you did the tune up did you use AC delco parts? it matters. Also, did you service the throttle bore? lets clear the codes and then start the engine to see what comes up.
