I have the car listed above SE model.my key jammed in the ignition it wont turn any more after 2 months of starting with a screwdriver. so I added a push start button kit which is suppose to start the car with remote which does not work. however it was starting up until I let a YouTube video tell me remove my chip from my key fob and tape it to my immobilizer. when i did so it didn't want to read my key. so i tried to solder it back on and still nothing. I do still have the transponder chip how can i get that chip to work again being that it's programmed to my car?

Unfortunately the chip needs the battery that is part of the key in order to operate. There are some that tape the key close to the transponder but this is an entire key that is intact.

If you only have one key or no programmed keys then unfortunately you are going to have to visit a shop and have two programmed to the vehicle.

Let me know if you have questions and we can go from there. Thanks
