Ignition swap?

i need to replace the ignition in my car listed above, and I'm wondering if an ignition from a Grand Am will fit in there and do the trick.

Hi,

If the Grand Am is the same model year, they are two different part numbers, so they are different.

Is it the actual switch that is being replaced or the key cylinder portion? I looked up the switch.
