I have the vehicle listed above and I lost the keys. I called somebody that came out and said that they took the whole ignition out and said they needed to take it to get keyed. I have been able to get a hold of the guy who wants 2 weeks. so, my question is, if I purchase an ignition with the key fob from a junkyard from the same make model and year and engine size would it be compatible with my car?

Hello Paul,

It will bolt in, but you cannot install it without having it reprogrammed. You might be able to get a preprogrammed unit if you search google or eBay. Also, I would call a mobile locksmith to come out to do the job/program the ignition key it should cost about $250.00. Here is more information on the repair. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.
