Turn key to start, dash lights come on and no turn over. Flick key back & forth several attempts and mabe. I just keep trying. IT IS NOT: Start relay . It is not chip in key (there is not a chip). If it were a security problem it wouldn't start for 2hrs. not it.

this key has a transponder in it so try another key if you have one. if not it will need to be scanned to see if it's a security issue to fix it. our manual which is copied from Hyundai says this is the system other than that check battery for condition including load test most places do for free. if you hear starter relay click try smacking body of starter with a hammer if it turns over the starter is bad
