Ignition key would not turn at all?

My key to my car was pulled out and it was in between off and acc/on and i went to leave and could barely get the key in and it would not turn at all. is there something I can do because it acts like it's stuck?

Hello, you may have to attempt to put the key back in using a jiggling motion, and while slowly turning the steering wheel left or right. Turning the wheel can allow the steering lock to be manipulated. If no luck, the ignition switch will have to be replaced. If you can send a video of the problem also, we might be able to help you better.

I have a 2013 kia rio and I was wondering if have to replace my ignition switch and was wonding how or if I'm going to have to reprogram the new ignition? If I do how do I do that?

Yes, you will need to recode the new key, I would have a mobile locksmith come out to do the job/program the ignition key it should cost about $200.00. Or you can tow it to the dealer or shop that can do the job.
