Welcome to 2CarPros.

Is this a factory GPS or something aftermarket? Also, when you removed it, how many wires were attached?

Let me know.

I sure hope the leasing company is nice to you. Removing those units places you in violation of the leasing contract and as soon as it is reconnected and it updates the mileage it will throw a red flag to the leasing company and in some states it's also a felony to disable or remove it.

That said It should have a power wire, ground wire and a wire that connects either to the PCM or two wires that connect in the ignition wire circuit and usually a wire that acts as the cell and GPS antenna. Unless the car has GPS/satellite radio installed then some piggyback off that.
Could you take a picture of the unit with it's ID tag and the harness. There are a few different versions available, some are 3, 4 or 5 wire. That might help with finding the correct wires.
