My vehicle has an idling problem, it doesn't hold idling and has lost power as well. It all started after changing clutch kit. What could cause the vehicle to stop idling even when am driving slow it does not idle it goes off even when I drive on neutral it switches off also.

Hi,

There are several things that can cause an idle related issue. However, since you had the transmission out to replace the clutch, I have a feeling there is an engine vacuum leak caused by a disconnected or damaged vacuum hose.

If you haven't already checked, that is where I would start. Take a look through this link. It explains how to locate and repair a leak.

Also, if the check engine light remains on while the engine is running, have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for you free of charge.

Let me know what you find.
