I have a remote start for my truck and during the first few minutes, the engine's idle seems to kind of surge up every couple seconds. It stops after 5 or so minutes but it doesn't seem right. I've never had a remote start on a vehicle and this is my first Chevrolet. it doesn't seem to hurt anything but it is a bit concerning.

Good evening,

If you do use the remote option, do you still have the issue?

Are there any codes set in the engine system?

How long since the engine had a good old fashion tune up?
