After clean throttle body with throttle body cleaner, engine does not idle properly?

Hi,

When you cleaned it, by chance did you spray a lot of cleaner that may have gotten on the idle air control or throttle position sensor? There are electronics that can be damaged if they get wet with a strong cleaner.

Also, I attached the directions I have for relearning without a scan tool. Is this what you have already tried?

Hi Joe, it's Warren Zimmerman. Thank you for your time and trying to troubleshoot my problem. I have this website and I could not send pictures. I don't know how to do that. Www.spectra that is General Motors idle we learn procedure which is identical to the one you just sent me so yes, I have tried that one. I use throttle body cleaner it starts with a b I don't have the can in front of me right now it's a brand name starts with a b my throttle body was in a drain pan on my bench sprayed it very well with that cleaner use toothbrush use Scotch pad used rags to clean it thoroughly. Because that's how I am. I can't say whether I got any material inside the electronics or not. I was not aiming for it, but I did use a lot of heavy spray. I then went and got mass air flow cleaner spray mass air full cleaner a few times and wiped it off with clean rag like paper towel type did not get my oil prints on it for my finger did not touch it with my skin. This idol problem only occurs when I turn car over my first ignites because RPM races right up between about 2,500 to 3 Grand almost you know but then immediately drops right back down to normal operating like 8 900 RPM in that area you could feel bucking in the transmission when driving in other words it's still the same. I've also disconnected the battery and tried to reset everything that way. Then I disconnected the battery for almost 2 days and tried to reset it that way. And another way I turn the ignition to the on position hit throttle pedal three times real quick shut the nation system off and then start car somebody tell me that one year ago don't know if in other words car isn't right still. I guess I'll try the procedure a few more times and take it from there. Can't argue with you in general motors you both advise you to do the same procedure you know what I mean I really do appreciate it so I don't know what to say here do I know they're definitely thank you but if anything else comes up let me know and if I do correct this after a few more temps with that procedure I will let you know if I make out.

Thanks for the update. Something isn't making sense. Are you certain there are no vacuum leaks? If you are unable to perform the relearn with the directions I sent, you may need to get a scan tool that can communicate with it and reset it that way.

I attached what I have for the throttle relearn below. It includes what I sent before and how it's done with a scan tool.

Take a look. Maybe something will jump out to you.
