My car idles rough at times-I have found that the IAC is not working-also upon closer examination I see that there is no gasket on the throttle body mount where the IAC goes-the CEL comes on with code PO1505, which I think is an open circuit in the IAC. Without the gasket could there be an vacuum leak which will cause a rough idle?-I have replaced the transmission, plugs, wires, and coil pack-I have a new IAC motor on order, as well as a gasket. Will this possibly fix the rough idle situation, and will the IAC not operating correctly kick-on a CEL?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply-yes I cleaned the IAC with throttle body cleaner-still problem-took off IAC and is not opening-so I assumed that is the issue and closing to adjust airflow-I will add the gasket when I install the IAC this time-hope this takes care of problem-

Thanks Again
