My cars Idle was working fine. Then one day just started idling high, around 2,200 RPMs.
What could have caused that?

That's typical of a vacuum leak. Start by checking out this article:

Let me know what you find. We can also look at the automatic idle speed circuit, but you'll need a scanner for that so we can look at live data while the engine is running.
