Sounds like valve train is rattling when started

I replaced the valve cover gasket and plugs and wires and now it sounds like valve train is rattling when started and when under load. I checked the oil level and it was good. Someone told me that it could be a water pump going, bad but it did not sound like it had a chirp or squeal.

It sounds like it could be the water pump, but to be sure we need to hear the noise to help you take a video using your phone and upload it in your response so we do not have to guess at the noise.
