Where is the bank2 sensor located and how to replace it?

I only need the male end. I did a motor swap between 2, 2004 Impala LS. One that was wrecked but had a newer motor with only 101,000 kms on it. So, I swapped them out and somehow when taking the older motor out, the line was cut for the bank2 sensor. I have from just before the catalytic converter, the sensor but without the male end connector. Can't find it anywhere and the closest store says it will be 3-4 weeks to get it.

Hello, so you do not have both ends that were cut still. Meaning you can't use crimp connectors to repair the 4 wires that run to the bank 2 oxygen sensor? Or you're saying that the connector on the sensor side of the harness was lost somehow. I assume by you're mentioning km, you are not in the US, where are you located?

I'm in Canada. And no, somehow the male end connector is nowhere to be found. The sensor w/female end is still there. Trying to locate any distributors that carry and/or have the O2 sensor connector available is next to impossible, nobody has it.

Yeah, trying to find the connector itself will be very difficult, the best thing to do is just to get a new oxygen sensor altogether.

I'm looking at the wiring diagrams right now, and it showing only 1 upstream oxygen sensor and 1 downstream after the cat, even though this is a V6, is that correct? Or do you have a sensor upstream of the Cat in both banks of the engine?
Service info is showing only one upstream 02 for both VIN #s.

And is the 8th digit of your VIN # a "1" or a "K"?
I don't want to get your hopes up, but Ill take a look and see if I can find you one.

Can you send me a picture of the harness connector for the sensor you need. I actually might have your sensor here right now, a friend who was retiring actually gave 150 oxygen sensors that are all from the late 90s up to 2004-5 range, I'll take a picture of the connector on these sensors and let me know if it looks correct.

Okay, it looks like the upstream 02 sensors have a female connector and the downstream (after the Cat) have a male connector as in the pictures above.
This is the upstream (pre-Cat) S1 oxygen sensor connector, it is a female connector.

This one actually has the pins marked on it, B and D and C and A, that pinout is correct according to service info, Send me an email address and I'll contact you on the side, I'll mail these both up to you tomorrow. I'm not sure how long it will take, I can't imagine it will take more than a few days.
Do you want the Sensor 2 as well? I have no need for all these sensors, I was just going to give them away, so it makes no difference to me if you want both.

I just meant in service information they show the harness side of the connectors not the sensor side, and S1 and S2 are both opposite. They just have them listed weird. But service info is sometimes incorrect. This looks all good though.

Heres the replacement info for sensor 1, they can be difficult to get out sometimes, try some heat if it feels like it's going to strip the threads out of the exhaust manifold.
