Slow performance and CEL on

After the heavy rain I discover my car performance is slow. The engine starts and work well but on my dashboard I noticed there is check light on and maintain reqd light show. (I have serviced my car) when I put the gear on drive it will drive but after sometimes the pedal to accelerate will just down and the car will not move more than five mph. Sometimes I have to pack and removed one the battery clip then after ten to fifteen minutes put it back and it will work well again. What can I do sir?

You need to go to a mechanic and get a diagnostic scan dome, this will give you a code for the problem that is causing the check light to come on, with this code we can advise on what next to do.
