Hard starting, warning light with car with key inside turned on

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have no technical information related to it. However, I will try to help.

The light that you mentioned sounds like it is related to the anti-theft system. Do you have a spare key you could try?

Next, if it isn't the anti-theft, try this.

1) Turn the key to the run position (engine off) and count to 5.

2) Turn the key off and repeat step 1, three more times.

3) On the 4th time, see if it starts easily.

I'm suggesting that to see if there is a fuel pressure drop off issue. By cycling it as mentioned, it will build the pressure back and should start easily if that is the problem.
