Hi,
Often times a hard start is caused by low fuel pressure or fuel pressure drop off. Try this and see if it changes things.
1) Turn key from off to run position (engine off) and count to 5.
2) Turn key off and repeat step 1 three more times.
3) On the 4th time, see if it starts normal.

Next, have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? This vehicle doesn't require a scan tool to get them. Follow the procedure outlined in this link:

As far as the vacuum schematics, I attached two pics below. The first shows everything related to the EVAP system. Pic 2 simply shows the fuel pressure regulator's vacuum supply.
