Engine light still on after replacing oxygen sensor

My engine light still on but I just put new oxygen sensor. What I can do now?

I am still not sure which oxygen sensor you replaced? I attached an image to show you the correct location of the sensor. Bank 1 sensor 2 is the one on the catalytic converter. Depending on your emissions rating which you will find under the hood on the label the pin configurations are different.

On pins number three and four measure the resistance for the heater circuit. If it is not within spec replace the sensor. And as stated earlier depends on your emissions rating, pins number three or number number will be the power supply. With the key on engine off you should see battery voltage to one of those pins. Let us know how your test goes and if you had to replace the oxygen sensor on the catalytic converter.

What do you mean off you should see battery voltage to one of those pins. Let us know how your test?

Depending on which connector you have based on the diagram back probe pin number three or number four with your voltmeter and have someone turn the key on and verify there is at least 12 volts.

Is was bottom of my car oxygen sensor bank 1 or 2 sensor because that is what people keep telling me so I changed it.

Hey, I have another questions I when to pass my emissions test well I did not pass they told I have drive put like 50or 100 mill on. But I do not know what to do, no light light engine on the paper said I failed. Hey, how are you have that problem too I want to know what it is. I can get done to fix my problem koer fail emissions test.
