Engine light still on after replacing oxygen sensor

What code did you pull and which oxygen sensor you replace?

I am still not sure which oxygen sensor you replaced? I attached an image to show you the correct location of the sensor. Bank 1 sensor 2 is the one on the catalytic converter. Depending on your emissions rating which you will find under the hood on the label the pin configurations are different.

On pins number three and four measure the resistance for the heater circuit. If it is not within spec replace the sensor. And as stated earlier depends on your emissions rating, pins number three or number number will be the power supply. With the key on engine off you should see battery voltage to one of those pins. Let us know how your test goes and if you had to replace the oxygen sensor on the catalytic converter.

Depending on which connector you have based on the diagram back probe pin number three or number four with your voltmeter and have someone turn the key on and verify there is at least 12 volts.

It sounds like you never cleared the code in the computer after you replaced the o2 sensor?

Okay, so see if the code comes back now that the light is off. What was the location of the sensor you replaced?

So the one by your catalytic converter?

Also, what size engine do you have?

If it was by the catalytic converter it is the correct one you changed.
