Hello everyone, my brake light wasn't working, so I replaced the brake light switch and when I did that, that brake light works now, but the Blazer won't shift out of Park.

Did I blow a fuse? It was working fine before, the only thing I can think of is that I didn't turn off the battery when I put in the Brake Light Switch and it caused this problem.

Is it a fuse do you think? If so what fuse would I replace? Thank you.

Good afternoon,

Did the replacement switch match up exactly to the old one?

I attached a diagram for you to view. There are 2 fuses for the system. Check them for power on both sides.

Also, check the wire coming out of the stoplight switch to the interlock solenoid.
