I hear the transmission going into gear but the car will not move. I am wondering where the TCM is located and would that be my problem? I have a haircut in my wire harness on the driver side front wheel well wires are going to the firewall and I do not know if it is my TCM or my PC. but now my car will not go forward or in reverse when you get here the gears shifty. I do not know what to do.

Good morning.

You said you hear the gears changing? If you do does the speedometer work?

Are there any codes stored?

Engagement of the transmission is mechanical, not electronic controlled. The electronics only controls shifting of the gears.
