I need the code numbers. There are many codes for those items. That's why I need the exact numbers.

Okay, 300 is for a misfiring in more than 1 cylinder. The most common reason is the fuel pump. Low fuel pressure will cause this.

P0300
Descriptor
Probable Causes
Crankcase Ventilation System Vacuum Leak
Diagnose Other DTCs First
Engine Control Module (ECM) Grounds Corroded or Connections Loose
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System Components Vacuum Leaks or Excessive Flow
Exhaust System Restricted
Fuel Contaminated
Spark Plug Worn, Fouled, Cracked or Incorrectly Gapped
Throttle Body or Intake Manifold Vacuum Leaks
Vacuum Hoses and Seals Split, Restricted or Connected Incorrectly

14 and 17

They are for bank 1 and 2. Good chance the timing chain is worn and the marks are not lined up correctly.

P0014
Descriptor
Probable Causes
Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Moving Slow or Stuck
Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Solenoid to Oil Control Valve Alignment Incorrect
Camshaft Position (CMP) Exhaust Actuator Solenoid Bank 1
Camshaft Position (CMP) Exhaust Actuator Solenoid Bank 1 Ground Circuit High Resistance
Camshaft Position (CMP) Exhaust Actuator Solenoid Bank 1 Intermittent Condition or Poor Connection
Engine Control Module (ECM)
Engine Control Module (ECM) Intermittent Condition or Poor Connection
Engine Oil Pressure Low
Oil Control Valve Moving Slow or Stuck
Oil Passages From Oil Filter to Bank 1 Exhaust Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Leaking or Blocked
Oil Quality Degraded or Oil Level Incorrect
Primary or Secondary Timing Chain Loose

1101

Usually the mass air flow sensor

DTC P1101

DESCRIPTION
The purpose of the global air diagnostic is to detect an airflow error. When this diagnostic determines that there is an airflow error, the DTC P1101 sets immediately. When this occurs, the fuel system operates in a default state and the engine control module (ECM) performs a series of tests to determine which of the following sensors or systems is the source of the error:
- DTC P0068 throttle body airflow performance
- DTC P0101 mass air flow (MAF) sensor performance
- DTC P0106 manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor performance

This DTC is designed to always set with another DTC as long as the ECM has had enough time to run the series of tests.

DTC DESCRIPTOR
This Diagnostic Procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC P1101 Intake Air Flow System Performance

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
- DTCs P0121, P1516, and P2108 are not set.
- The engine is running.
- The MAP sensor is less than 99 kPa.
- The engine is in Closed Loop fuel control.
- DTC P1101 runs continuously.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
If the ECM detects an air flow error, DTC P1101 sets immediately.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
- The control module illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) when the diagnostic runs and fails.
- The control module records the operating conditions at the time the diagnostic fails. The control module stores this information in the Freeze Frame/Failure Records.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
- The control module turns OFF the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) after 3 consecutive ignition cycles that the diagnostic runs and does not fail.
- A current DTC, Last Test Failed, clears when the diagnostic runs and passes.
- A history DTC clears after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles, if no failures are reported by this or any other emission related diagnostic.
- Clear the MIL and the DTC with a scan tool.

2097

P2097
Descriptor
Probable Causes
Diagnose Other DTCs First
Engine Control Module (ECM)
Engine Control Module (ECM) Harness Intermittent Condition or Poor Connection
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) High Signal Circuit High Resistance
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) High Signal Circuit Open
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Low Signal Circuit High Resistance
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Low Signal Circuit Open

Where do you suggest?
Starting on resolving the issue. And thank you for all that information. I did not get my last year of auto mechanics and I never learned much on electronics and sensors. I just know more on hard parts.

I would start with the timing chains. Looks like they are worn.

And in addition. I should have have said this sooner. But the guy I bought this vehicle from said the rough idle and misfire started after getting catalytic converters replaced.

The converters have no effect on the rough idle.

I know. But he just notified me that the problem did not start until he got I back after they got replaced. So I was thinking sensors that might have been jarred or damaged in the process.

There is one for a heated sensor. But that is for the heater portion, not the sensor part.

And again, it will not cause the engine to run rough.
