I have a knock sensor out and I have only one left over sensor but there are two sensors. Which one would it be 1 or 2?

Hello, it's the number 2 knock sensor. You can go by wire coloring if you're unsure of which sensor. Verify that the connector is not damaged and or the pins are loose. You may want to check the circuit for a short to Ground. The code setting criteria is short to ground for more than 5 seconds. Check the two wires for the sensor at any contact point for the wiring harness. Contact points are where most short to grounds happen and you might find other wires affected as well or catch a problem before it happens. You don't want any other sensors shorting out. It can cause a no start condition.
