I talked with you guys before. It has been awhile. Truck is back. I need to fix it. Still owe on it. The dealer wont even fix it. No one knows about these trucks. I mean no none.
so my name is Ron Pello. You can look up the problems that came up. Now I have a drive motor generator control module assembly. Supposed to been checked and tested. Old one is out. New one will go in today. Relatively easy job. I have the shop repair manual. Kinda hard to understand but all the info is in it. But they stop short of specs on installing used parts. If I am installing same year same accessorize model. Will I have to reprogram and relearn all the modules in it? The only module in the system that works with the hybrid motor generator assembly and is not contained in it is the battery control module that is in the battery assembly. The hybrid battery is also a used part and different from what the truck has seem before. Please help. You tried before and were a great help. But now it is time to fix it. Oh, and by the way. I got nothing from anyone in terms of fixing this. It was so hard to prove anything that I just gave up. It was to hard on me.

I suspect you will have to reprogram this module. Unfortunately there is no documentation on how to install a used part. From everything I can see this is a VIN specific module which means it will need to have the VIN programmed into it.

However, due to this being a limited production vehicle there is not much info out there on this (as you have found). This means we may not know for sure until you do it. Clearly a new module needs to be programmed but your truck may operate without it.

If it were me in your position, I would put it in and see what happens.
