Yesterday I went to reset my odometer after getting gas and it shocked the HELL OUT OF ME!!! Then my truck died and when I went to re-start it the ignition shocked the crap outta me too????????? Anyone have any ideas as to what I did, didn't do, or need to do??? Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED!!! Thanx guys

check to see if you hooked up the ground wire on one of the heads front and rear or they may be loose. also check your ground form battery to body.

Ok... I found where I forgot to hook the ground wire from the back of the RH head to the chassis. I see where the ground connects to the firewall bit not sure where to connect other side to the head... So I just picked a spot. Then I ran one from the front of the head to another ground stud on the firewall and I'm still having the same stupid freakin problems! This has been sooo dang frustrating!!! ( to put it nicely) The other grounds looked good too but I removed em n cleaned the connections anyways... So do you (or anyone) have any more ideas? Or can you think of anything else that can cause my rediculous problems? It almost seems like the alternator isn't grounded. Any input would be much appreciated! Thanx

did you check the battery to body grounds and engine to battery grounds? it has to be either the right fornt or left rear of engine block causing this those are the main grounds or it's still both you shouldn't be getting a shock unless it is static buildup from a nylon coat dragging across the cloth seat.

I'm not posative that I found all the grounds. I'll take another look today! And when I got shocked the truck died as I got shocked plus I was driving when all this happened (bout 15mph) and at first I thought the shocked to my finger was just my imagination until I shifted it into neutral and grabbed the key and as soon as I turned the key I got shocked again and that's when I realized it wasn't just in my head! Surprised the crap outta me that's for sure!! Lol I'll check those grounds again today and check my fuses and I'll let you know what I find. Thanx again for your help
