I am trying to replace my muffler, and the stock muffler is at an awkward bend, so I do not know how to attach the aftermarket muffler via clamps.

Hello,
Installing an aftermarket exhaust/muffler many times requires modifications like bending of exhaust piping or using adapters with the desired bend.
I believe the factory muffler has an L shape bend on the inlet. Which will require you to get an adapter that is identical to that bend.
