I broke this wire while trying to get the spare tire down to replace a flat tire. I had several lamps on the dash, ABS, stability control, 4wd, tire pressure, cruise control etc. The broken wire was about three feet long with two metal prongs on the good end. This wire was hooked by my long metal rod I used to try to lower the spare tire. It came out with this rod when I was unable to lower the spare tire and pulled the rod back to me. The dealer replaced the right wheel speed sensor connector and repaired a section of harness. Removed and replaced bad connector, repairs of wiring and verified no DTC. The cost was $289. Do you think this was a reasonable solution to this problem?

Yes, that sounds reasonable, do you have any problem with the repair?
