What would make my cruise control just quit and rear wiper to stop along with rear heat on window and the light on heat panel for rear defrost doesn't heat and heater wont switch over to different positions the dial will turn but not change from floor to defrost all at once?

Hi,

Have you checked all the fuses? It is very common for several circuits to be on 1 fuse thus when it blows they all stop working.

My next suggestion would be to pick one, the easiest to get to and turn it on and do a voltage check as I suspect you have lost a ground somewhere. Try adding a ground jumper right at the unit with it on and see if it starts running.

Okay, thanks. All I'm really worried about is the vent selector working to change where the heat blows.

Hello,

It sounds like the front control module is out. To be sure here is a video on how to scan the CAN system which is the future of car repair which you can get a scanner for about $50.00 and the instruction on how to replace the FCM in the diagrams below. The unit self initializes so its easy to replace.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

I am not sure if it is an electrical problem or not but none of the controls but the fan speed work on the lower control panel. I cannot change the temperature of the air or the location of where the air blows. I suspect something electrical because the rear wiper also does not work.

Hi
My rear wiper doesn't work either. Along with interior lights, heated mirrors. Had the car's blinker fixed. They fixed the Replay. Then nothing else worked.
Another shop told me to have the Power Control Module looked at. It may have to be replaced $$$ or better. Re programed.
